WASHER - Washer Stops

POSSIBLE CAUSE: Unbalanced loads will cause the washer to stop, generally during the spin cycle. Check for leveling. Likewise, certain heavy garments (rugs, blankets, jeans, etc.) are more likely to cause the washer to become unbalanced. It is important not to overload the washer with these articles. In addition, if too much water is selected for a small volume of clothes the unbalanced switch may be tripped and stop the washer. Normal washer pauses occur between each segment of the washer cycle (fill, agitate and spin). Lid not closed. For safety reasons, the washer will not agitate or spin unless the lid is closed.
